How It Works

Audits are uploaded directly to the MediCopy CarePortal. MediCopy will communicate directly with the requestor for fee agreements and due dates. In most cases, the requesting party of the audit will remit payment to MediCopy. In a few cases, requesting parties will send payment to the facility, who will, in turn, reimburse MediCopy. On rare occasions, the requesting parties will not pay MediCopy or the facility, and those instances are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Then, your account manager or a member of our Payor Services team will complete the audit by the due date. All status calls and checks can be directed to MediCopy staff to ease the burden of frequent callers and status checks for your team! We will handle every aspect of the pesky audit process for you. See below for a list of frequent companies we can complete audits for!
